Outlook and IE6 malfunction

Using Office 2003 and IE6 I have a problem that when I click a link on a
website to send an email, I get a flood of new IE windows (about 60) opening
until memory is full. I can't abort or close all usually and need to
reboot. I have run the Office repair routine. I can surf just fine and
load mail from pop server without problems. The problem must be in the
linkage that tell IE to open Outlook's send screen. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Not sure if this will be the issue, but here's some good advice anyway:

Got good antivirus software, updated regularly? Got a firewall in place? Got
a popup blocker in your browser (like the google toolbar)?

Might want to check out "Dealing with Unwanted Malware, Parasites, Toolbars
and Search Engines:

Yes, I use McAfee which is updated and I have done full system scans. I
also run Spybot, Google toolbar and AdAware. The XP Firewall is on. I
will follow the winhelp suggestions. THANKS!

Try resetting your web settings: In IE, Tools>Internet
Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings
