Outlook and Router Password not saving........as of last night

I have been using Vista for over a year, and while the email password prompt
would popup every once in awhile (with the password already saved) I would
just click okay and it worked. Now it's popping up with the password blank -
even though when I go to accounts settings it's saved - and even my D-Link
router password has been erased.

What the heck is going on?

What type of email account? I've found if I'm not connected to the internet
it removed the saved password.

Where is outlook saving your router password?
