Outlook Anywhere for BCM? Q for Leonid, Luther, Raul

I just read the link - thanks I hadn't heard of it. I don't see how it
really differs in features from RPC over HTTPs.

It probably doesn't differ except but since I'm so not a network techie, I
was hoping the app would allow connection to the BCM DB since OWA doesn't.
Save me setting up a 2nd server for WTS.

Sorry - I didn't mean to confuse the issue. I would also love to see those
features! I'm referring to how vague MS own promotional material is. I
don't see why they wouldn't just say - these are the differences. I think
MS has probably gotten to the point of an internal policy of release no
feature information so they won't have to remove it in order to meet a
release date.

Office 2007 has virtually no useful no features and virtually no fixes to
the notorious issues within Office 2003. They just will focus on the stupid
ribbon instead of the significant flaws within 2003.

Yo, Microsoft, another unhappy voice to hear! <G> (they couldn't allow
emoticons on this site....too risky!)

For the most part I'm good with MS products but I really REALLY get ticked
off by the big mistakes that continue in their product lines and instead of
fixing them they concentrate only on "mac like" user interfaces. E.g. I
search through my sent folders in outlook and it comes back with the FROM
field column but not the TO field column - hmm - which one am I more likely
to be interested in from my OWN mailbox? I've contacted MS a few times
about that and their response was - well that isn't the way Outlook works -
NO F@$#$ DUH! I'm not asking for a review of the way it works, I'm asking
for a FIX, A PATCH, A CORRECTION, an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THIS IS NOT A GOOD
THING or "FEATURE" as they like to call bugs!

If Outlook formatted your hard drive every time you tried to do a search, do
you think they would just say "well that isn't the way Outlook works". It
is a FLAW - FIX IT - NO EXCUSES - JUST FIX IT!

(1) Outlook Anywhere is typical marketing disimulation. My
interpretation reading the stuff on the link is that it should more
correctly be called Exchange Anywhere.
(2) BCM does not use Exchange.

Nothing new here. Please move along.
