Outlook Attachment Problem

Since upgrading from Outlook Express to Outlook 2002, I
can receive attachments such as .xls. But I have not
been able to receive attachments in the .pdf format.

When a pdf file is attached to a message, it appears to
be downloading based on the time it takes, but when the
message is opened, the attachment is not there, and no
paper clip icon appears.

Help will be appreciated.
