we recently installed EMS Email xtender on exchange server X. The next day,
we have users with mailboxes on servers A,B and C trying to authenticate on
server X if they have outlook anywhere enabled.
Microsoft's only recommendation is to re-create the profile but in an
enterprise environment of 5000 users, most of whom use RPC (although the
problem is hit and miss), I would like a better solution. at least an
understanding of why this is happening.
EMC says this has never happened before.
