Outlook auto-resolves alias to mailbox - make it stop

B

Bryan Jackson

We have a mailbox called with a primary name of [email protected], we then
have two aliases for this mailbox called [email protected] and
[email protected]. When you use OUTLOOK 2003 or OWA 2000 to send an email to
one of the aliases it changes it to [email protected] before sending.

We then don't know which email address the message was originally composed
to, and the user doesn't understand when their TO address magically changes.

Is there any way to stop this behavior? So the email goes out with the
CORRECT email address in the header?

Thanks!

Bryan
