Outlook automatically deleted my emails

help! my bosses OUTLOOK keeps deleting his emails automatically as soon as he reads them. we using google apps sync through our server here.

Are you REALLY sure they are deleted? Do they appear in the Deleted Items
Folder, or is his View set to Unread Messages?
