Outlook Backup Error Message

Hello-
When I attempt to backup Outlook to my CD-RW (E drive,
the system gives me the following error
message: "Outlook.backup.pst The above file name is
invalid." What am I doing wrong?

CD Manufacturer: Imation
OS: Windows XP-Home Edition
Hardware: Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop; Intel Pentium III,
Mobile CPU, 1000MHz, 256MB RAM

don't put a "." between outlook and backup. There can only be one "." for a
file name.
