How do I get my outlook to work with my broadband ?

Oh yeah, that says a lot about what "work" means and, by implication,
what "does not work" would mean. You'll have to explain what is your
broadband connection, how many connections are defined, and just what
you are trying to do in Outlook to make it "work".

Usually you get one chance per potential respondent to elicit a reply
from them. If they skip your post because you gave them nothing to go
on and no context, often they'll just move on to the next post and never
return to yours. Go read:

Outlook doesn't normally give a fig about how you connect to the internet -
how is Outlook "not working" with your broadband connection?

As a general rule, you amend the mail account settings to use a specific
connection, or never dial if you have an allways on service.

Same way as you would get your Outlook to work with any dial-up connection.
The nature of your Internet connection is not as important as knowing who
provides your Internet connection. Your ISP has all the information you need
to configure any email client (not just MS Outlook) to work with their
connection.
