Outlook Buttons

How can I permanently remove "smiley" buttons from my
toolbar. I remove then via the toolbar options and they
return immediately.

You probably have an add-in installed for this as this is not in Outlook
itself. Look in your ass/remove programs to see if you can find it. It could
be EmoMail http://www.maxplugs.com/emomail/
