Description of problem.
I have an exchange 2000/windows2000 server and active directory
network.
All outlook/exchange users have default settings, everything in on the
server.
I convert users over to win2000/outlook2000 all the time upgrading
them to new desktop computer hardware.
Problem:
User had a Windows 98 computer and was using office and outlook 98.
I migrated user to a Windows 2000/Outlook2000 computer. Made sure
users e-mail, internet and printing worked and user was a happy
camper.
Next day user calls and says, "where is my calendar?"
I go to users desk and sure enough their calendar is blank/empty.
User says there used to be lots of stuff in their calendar and has old
printed copies.
I have user login to the computer in the next cubicle, also
Win/Outlook2000 and their calendar entries are there but their Inbox
is empty.
I return to users cubicle and computer and send an email to
themselves, it shows up in the inbox and I can hear the chime of
incoming message on the next cubicle computer but it does not appear
in the inbox.
It's like the users inbox and calendar are somehow in separate places?
Any Ideas ???
Thanks
