Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange The user is attempting to view a calendar event that has a file attached to it. The event originated in Outlook 2007. The Entourage 2008 client can see the event, but the file shows as . It is not an actual file, but just the name of it. I've tested viewing the file in iCal and the file is viewable. I would like to keep it simple for the user by focusing on Entorage only. Please advise.

Entourage 2008 cannot display attachments within calendar items.

However, the Web Services Edition of Entourage can do this. It is an
update available for any Entourage 2008 user who also connects to an
Exchange 2007 server. You can find details and the download here:

Hope this helps!

I have the Web Services Edition running on an iMac (10.6.2), but it still views the attachment as a file name.

The user is running Version 13.0.3 (091002). My computer is running Version 130.4 (100208). Neither of them is able to view attached files in Calendar events.
