My calendar does not goe beyond 1/5/2009. How can I fix this? I can't get
recurring events beyond 1/5/09.

what happens when you try? How are you creating the events?

If you are pulling the slider down, just keep pulling. Or use the arrow
buttons in the navigation calendar to move to the next month.

Click Go>Go to Date. Enter 1/1/2012 and click OK. What do you see?

Sorry for the poor presentation of my problem. Thanks for the responses. Let
me try again with more detail. I’m using MS Office XP Pro. I’m in Outlook and
I select Calendar. I create either a New Appointment or a New Event. I enter
my info and click Recurrence-yearly and then Save&Close.
If I try to open that item I get “Can’t open this item. The object is not
validâ€
The slider will only go out to ≈1 year+. The view does not show the Task Pad.
I change the view to week, slider still only goes out ≈ 1 year. But now I
have the task pad with 2 small months at top. Now I can scroll out for as
long as I expect to live and the item is there. However if I try to open it I
still get the same error message.
What am I doing wrong? Help, please!

If you press the down arrow, can you move ahead? It's normal that the slider
only takes you a yr ahead and one behind.

For the problem opening the item, try resetting the view.

Yes the arrow key works. Thanks. I know understand that my problem is when I
make a recurring event I can not open it. I get “Can’t open this item. The
object is not validâ€. Changing the view does not correct this. When I delete
the event I get “The item may not have been deleted correctly. If someone
sent you… The object is not valid.†I think this is posted on this form by
Pam as “Recurring appointments in calendar can’t be editedâ€

does this happen with every recurring item or just some?

Did you reset the view?

Another Question, Kodachrome.
Are you running on Windows XP or Vista?
Outlook XP/2002 has shown itself not very stabile running on Windows Vista.
