I have a calendar that my users use to book meetings in a
conference room. Some of the users can see a pop-up box
when they place their mouse over the coloured bar for a
meeting even if they don't own it or are not a
participant, but most cannot.
Platforms range from Windows 95 through to XP with their
respective versions of office and XP has a mix of those
that get the pop-up and those that don't. Other platforms
just don't.
So far the only thing I have come up with is in Windows 98
where you can right click with the mouse and this gives
some information about the meeting.
There are no specific permissions on the calender assigned
to the conference room, the conference room is set-up as a
normal email account.
