outlook, cannot access contacts folder, no longer exists.

Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the
specified folder location. The folder no longer exists.

please advise how to fix this problem.

Did you move your PST (Personal Folders) file? Also, which version of
Outlook are you using?

version is outlook 2002. and no to my knowledge i did not move my personal
folders file, at least not intentionally.

Do you get this when you try to access the Outlook Address Book?
