outlook ,can't receive a certain message??

Was on vaca for a week, got back and checked e-mail and as
outtook tried to receive mail it fot to meaasge #4
incoming mail and stalled, then quit. I finally read and
erased the 2st 3 messages and then when I tried again it
stalled on message #1. I think that it was a certain
message holding up my incoming mail for that reason. The
server stops now. Can I get around receiving that first
message somehow, I think it has a long attachement or is
screwed up somehow causing all my mail to be
undeliverable.
My other identities on the same acct are OK.

Can you access mail direct via a webbased service? If so, try deleting the
offending mail from there.
