Outlook Changing senders address

I've just started having a very weird problem in outlook
2000 sp3 running on windows 2k sp4 all hotfixes installed.
Basically outlook is renaming the senders address to the
persons last name and that is it. I.E
(e-mail address removed) is getting changed to schmoe and
that's it. When I double click on senders address in the
message to see the actual address the same thing is coming
up.
I just installed a hotfix this morning that was a security
fix so I can't imagine why this would affect Outlook but
who knows.
Can anyone offer any tips on this one.
