Outlook Connector Issue...solved here for us.

When Outlook tries to download the new Connector update, it fails to work
properly on Outlook 2003 at our company. We then searched and found that
Microsoft has released a new 32-bit version of Connector for Outlook 2003 and
2007 around April 10th of this year. We downloaded that version and made
sure Outlook wasn't running. We then installed the new 32-bit version of
Connector and after about 5 minutes it was done. We opened Outlook and the
problems has gone away and email seems to be working properly now. Here is
the link to the page:

It turns out that others have been dealing with this problem and here is a

I hope this helps you.

I don't know if this is what fixed the problem, but when I followed these
instructions, and went through an additional Outlook Connector install cycle
upon launching outlook, it finally worked. I am able to connect to both my
hotmail and POP3 accounts.

This update did not solve the Outlook Connector 'upgrade' looping problem.
Still prompted to 'upgrade' connector. Still cannot use Outlook 2007 to read
my .msn EMail messages.
