I have a free Windows Live email account compliments of IU Alumni Assoc. I
downloaded Outlook Connector successfully and synced with Outlook 2003. (I'm
on WinXP/SP2.) After a few days it simply stopped syncing except for Junk
Mail. There are no error messages other than the calendar one.
I can read/write my mail from Windows Live on the web and the account is set
to the Live interface, not Classic. I've removed my account from Outlook and
added it back in--nothing. I uninstalled Connector, and downloaded fresh
from Windows on 12/14--nothing.
Is there a way to add the account to Outlook without use of Connector
(which, from the many frustrated users' postings all over the web, appears to
be pretty buggy)? It would be a cool tool if they got it operating reliably.
