Outlook constantly shuts down

About 75% of the time that I start Outlook (2003), it immediately terminates
with an error that just reports that it must be shut down, with an option to
reinitialize it immediately. Most of the time, it closes and starts back up
again, with an error log shipped to MS. On a few occasions, it indicates a
much larger error log needs to be sent and the reopening takes a bit longer.
There hasn't been any feedback from the error logs as of yet.

When the program is terminated (whether or not it started with this problem)
the following error is generated:

The instruction at "0x0fedca9fe" referenced memory at "0x0f112 090". The
memory could not be "read". OK to terminate the program.

I would appreciate any assistance.
