Outlook contac t/addressbook

B

Bill

Am I being thick?

My contacts list does not appear when I click on the "to"
icon to the left of the address line. I get another
address book which, althouigh it operates, will not
display any new addresses I put in. It finds them
on "find" but will not display. The pull down menu only
has "contacts" in the window, no other. How can I force
my Outlook email facility to read the contacts list ?

The first thing I would check is to right click on the Contacts folder in
questions and select Properties. Go to the Outlook Address Book tab and
make sure the box is checked for "Show this folder as an e-mail Address
Book". If this does not work then you may want to remove and reinstall the
Outlook Address Book service. The steps for removing the Outlook Address
Book vary depending on your version of Outlook, if you need help with doing
this then let me know what version of Outlook you are using.
