Outlook Contact Address Format

How can I check whether the format to which I have been saving my contacts is
consistent with how Outlook saves the contact. I can remember the first time
I entered an address another dialoge box opened up, however I checked off the
"don't ask me again" questions.

I want to do some mail merges and hope that they turn out correctly.

The "Full Name" field doesn't tell you much about what you'll get in a
merge.

This is how you can check your Contacts to see if you have First_name data
and Last_name data in the right places:

Change to Phone List View
Add the Fields "First_name" and "Last_name" (use the Field Chooser or
Customise Current View)
When you do a merge, use these two fields, NOT full_name so you can say "Hi
first_name"

Thanks however I really want to check the address part is being stored and
that component is not shown.

Am I missing something?

If by "component" you mean field, use the field chooser as described in my
previous post, to show the fields you want to see. eg state

If this isn't helping you, please come back and be very speicifc - exactly
what data do you want to check?
