Outlook Contact Duplicating

I just set up a new email account and configured outlook 2003. I copied users
contact info from PST to original contact folder, some of the contact lists
get duplicated for some reason. When I click the original contact folder
under mailbox XXXX, I don't see the duplicates but when I click the
addressbook and click Contact I see the duplicates. There is no any other
contact list in outlook other than the original one. This particular users
has windows mobile phone which sync with our exchange over the air, do you
think that is causing this duplicat issue? please help.
