Outlook Contacts and Signature Disappearing

Enviroment is XP Pro, Outlook 2003, Exchange 2003.

Has anyone experienced a situation where a users contacts and signature are
disappearing? While we are able to recover/reinstall it without a loss of
data its kind of perplexing and annoying.

I thought it would have something to do with an uninstall/reinstall of
Office 2003, but the situation has occured long after this process has
completed. Even yesterday we had a small power outage in a building and the
problem occured.

Anyway, if someone has any ideas on this, I would appreciate any help or
thoughts.

The contacts disappeared from the Contacts folder?
What did you do to recover?

I think I need to clarify this a little better. The Outlook Address Book
that contained the contact information was disappearing. The data it
contained seemed intact when we restored/re-added the Address Book by going
to the Tools, Email Accounts routine.

My question resolves around why its disappearing and has anyone else
experienced it.
