In 99% of applications, Control-F will open a "find" dialog. I use this
frequently.
99% of the time, I am surprised and annoyed that the exceptionally intuitive
Control-F "Find" results in a "forward" action in Outlook (any version).
Yes, yes, I know that F4 will launch a find. But this is 500%
counterintuitive.
I cannot find any resources that describe how to alter or remove keyboard
shortcuts. I know how to use ampersand (&) to change ALT-shortcuts, but I
cannot find any way to change Control-shortcuts.
I'd be 80% happy if I could make Outlook's Control-F do nothing. I'd be
100% happy if I could make Outlook's Control-F do what it's supposed to do -
launch a "find" dialog.
I'm in the process of downloading the Office 2007 beta. I sure hope that
they've fixed this glaring bug.
I've searched the Internet and found numerous complaints, but nobody has
documented a solution. This has been bugging me for YEARS.
