Outlook crash/closing while attempt to insert file from mapped dri

Hello--has anyone ever seen the situation where MS Outlook closes/crashes
while attempting to insert a file from a mapped drive? A user was able to
duplicate this issue for me. There are no error logs generated when this
happens. I'm not sure if it's an issue with his logon script that
automatically maps the appropriate drives for him or if it's something
else... Any ideas?
