Greetings:
I tried opening Outlook and it goes into the report an error mode. When I
check the details of the error, I get the following information:

EventType : clr20r3 P1 : outlook.exe P2 : 11.0.5510.0 P3 :
3f1380f0
P4 : mscorlib P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 471ebc5b P7 : 17c5 P8 : 1e4

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I forgot to add that I am running Outlook 2003, WIndows XP, with McAfee
Internet Security. I am able to enter my password for my POP e-mail accounts
and then it shuts down after I send the error report.
THank you.

Dear Robert:
Thanks for replying so quickly.

Disabling McAfee-Oulook integration disabled - did not solve.

Went to your link I could not find a .pst file to scan. Did a search and
there were several files in the Documents and Settings\...\Outlook - Archive,
My Contacts, MS Outlook Internet settingshotmail.com, Outlook and Outlook1.

Renamed the outcm.dat file - did not solve.

Could not open Outlook in Safe Mode.

Did not try recreating the profile in the Ctrl panel.

Any other ideas?
Thanks.

If you go to File > Data/File Management it will tell you the location of
your PST's. Then just follow that to do the scan on them.

I like to run a DOS command prompt but you can also do this in Run type the
following:

Outlook 2003:
%programfiles%\Microsoft Office\Office11\outlook.exe /safe

Outlook 2007:
%programfiles%\Microsoft Office\Office12\outlook.exe /safe

Hope, I helped you guys out.....I have a couple of users that are havign the
same issue and Im trying out the safe mode option. Ill let you guys know if
it works for me.
