I'm going to set up IMAP mail on a server instead of POP3 / local pst file.

How can i get the "personal folder" to dissapear (based on the local pst
file) and some other accounts?

I tried to delete data files via "data files management" but i can't remove
the files ("This data file i ass with a mail account. To remove it use the
Email account command on th e tools menu" - i have deleted all mail
accounts)

You can't, as far as I can tell The IMAP messages store cannot be used as
the default delivery location (at least I can't get Outlook to use it), so
you always need a local PST, even if you have no accounts that use it.
