Outlook deletes message from inbox when reply is sent

I have been using Outlook 2000 since the beginning of time with no problems.
Now, when I reply to a message in my inbox, when I send the reply, the original
message disappears from the inbox. I haven't changed any settings, and hell if
I can even find the setting to make it stop.

I don't know. Help point me there and I can check. I can tell you I haven't
changed any settings in years, but having used Outlook for over 10 years, this
wouldn't be the first time I've experienced Outlook mysteriously changing a
setting on its own.
