Do you have autoarchiving enabled for the Sent Items folder?

I experienced the same problem and have now turned off AutoArchive for the Sent Items folder. Now, Can I get the messages which were removed (presumably archived?) back?
Where would they be?

They'll be in the Sent Items folder of the archive PST.
