Outlook does not always open

Outlook does not always open when started, it is sporadic. It states cannot
open Outlook window. Folders not available. The server is not avialable. I
have contacted the server, they say no problem, must be the program. I have
reloaded program still opens sporadicly.

Before opening Outlook, look in Task Manager's Processes tab to ensure
there isn't some remnant of outlook.exe still loaded. Outlook (and
Word) have problems on exit that will lock them up. Sometimes it can be
caused by an add-in but it can happen in a pristine install of only
Windows and Office. Kill off any remnant outlook.exe and winword.exe
processes and the see if Outlook loads okay.
