Outlook does not let me shutdown my computer

Whenever I want to shutdown my computer I have to wait
around because before logging off and shutting down
Windows tries to end process Outlook(2002) and it sits
there until I click "end process" this is very
inconvenient for me. How do I fix this? I hope you can
help...
