Outlook doesn't accept focus when returning from remote desktopsession on full-screen second monitor

I have dual monitors. When I create a remote desktop session that is
displayed on my second monitor in full screen mode, then return to
Outlook on my primary monitor, by clicking on the Outlook window,
focus does not return to Outlook, but stays on the app that's in my
remote desktop session. I usually have to click on some other app on
my primary monitor first, in order to get Outlook to respond. If the
session is not full screen on the second monitor, there are no
problems. Does anyone know of this problem and a possible solution?

I (and many others) are having the same issue. I can not seem to find any
evidence that MS has acknowledged the issue at all. Further testing shows
this issue is not present in Outlook Express, only in Outlook XP (2003) or
newer. Running the RDP client in a windowed mode is a work-around, but not a
very good one. Anyone else find a fix for this yet?
