techiko

I use outlook for emails and contacts. but when sending emails, it doesn't
auto fill to/cc field with the data i have in contacts. Only auto fill the
ones i have typed before when composing emails. How do I fix that? Thanks.

You don’t - Outlook is behaving as expected. It uses the nickname cache
(addresses previously used to send) to auto-populate the TO field. Tell us
what you really want, auto-resolution or auto-completion?

That's how it's supposed to behave. However, if your Contacts folder is
correctly configured as an Outlook Address Book (it probably is) then
you need only type enough of the name to be unique and then you can
press ALT+K to force it to check your Outlook Contacts folder for the
matching name. Or you could just press TAB and continue on with
creating your message and Outlook will, eventually, check it against
your Contacts folder anyhow.

That is normal behavior. See

a method you can use to populate it.
