Please don't point me at the KB article on protected storage, it did not
work. Also that KB article says it applies only to POP and IMAP email.
No matter what I do, Outlook will not remember the password for my exchange
server email. It remembers my POP passwords just fine. When I use the same
online outlook server to get my mail via webmail, MSIE remembers my password.
What is puzzling and annoying is Outlook logs into the exchange server,
downloads mail to my inbox, and THEN prompts for the password. If I hit
"cancel" it closes Outlook.
This is happening on two different machines, XP Pro/SP2 in both cases,
firewall is off. One machine is running Outlook XP the other Outlook 2003/SP1
(that's Outlook2003's service pack, not XP's)
