Hello,
There was a thread, which unfortunately did not really answer my
problem, therefor I will try again.
When using Outlook, the messages are NOT being deleted from the
server, allowing the same email to be downloaded indefinitely.
If I use Outlook Express, the messages ARE removed from the server.
I do not have the "leave on server" option engaged, and this problem
did not occur while I was using Bell ISP, but started immediately
after I started using Rogers ISP. These are both high-speed accounts.
I can attach logs for both when the problem happens and then after I
delete the message using Outlook Express.
My question is could the old account still be in the registry, or
could there be a duplication of this account in the registry, where
the flag to "leave on server" has become jammed?
any help appreciated.
