Outlook downloads some of my hotmail messages already opened?

When I open Outlook 2007, my inbox displays most of my messages (say 5 out of
7) already opened. This is worrying from a security point of view; but is it
just because MSN is seeing Outlook as the "opener"?

What do you mean by "already opened"? Do you mean five separate windows pop
up, each with one of the five messages, or do you mean simply that you can
see the message subjects and senders in the Inbox list (and possibly one of
them in the Reading Pane)?
