Outlook dropping connection to domain

XPSP2 with outlook 2003 logged into a domain. At random times it wants to
reauthenticate to the domain. I also loose all my shares. This only happens
when I leave my mail open.

Are you connecting to an Exchange server?
If not, where is your PST file located?
Do you have your firewall enabled?
