Outlook E-mail

When I create an e-mail and send it, it goes to the Outbox. I notes that I
have 1 itme in the outbox. When I initiate the send/receive cycle and it
links to my ISP for sending, the status bar in the lower right hand of the
screen indicates it is "sending 3 of 3 items". Anyone have an idea of what's
going on? I do not have any pending "confirm receipt" notices to send, just a
clean outboax with one message. I ran virus and other update software and
have not founf anything.

Thanks.

Outlook version? Operating System version?

Also, when I send 2 e-mails, the status bar indicates i is "sending 3 of 4
items", so somehow I'm sending two extra e-mails each time I send mail. If I
simpy hit send/receive with nothing in the outbox, no e-mail is sent.

How many accounts do you have defined? There has been a condition in which
Outlook will report an extra message for each extra account you have,
misreporting the number of messages there are to be sent.

I have 3 accounts, so if you are correct, when I am sending 1 e-mail, it
simply counts the other two accounts? Glad its that simple. Thanks for your
help.
