outlook e-mails disappeared after systenm restore

I have recently had to reinstall my o/s windows xp. i lost everything as it
should be. is there anyway i retrieve my outlook e-mails because they are
gone as well.

A little background needed...

Is your Outlook Client connected to an Exchange Server?

Did you have your email saved to a local pst?

If the Reinstall/factory restore was NON-destructive, you should be able
you find your .pst file. If it WAS destructive(format or image
overwrite) thet all is gone.

If you reformatted your hard drive when you restored, then of course all is
gone. Why would you expect otherwise? If you did a repair restore, then your
