With Word selected as editor in Outlook, Outlook cannot find Word and reverts
to the Outlook editor. Word works fine on its own.

This happens to me too often and is really a pain because it means my
Word macros are then not functiional. I have to terminate Outlook in
Task Manager/Processes and restart it to get Word to work again as
email editor. It seems to be a timeout issue but I can't be sure.
Would love to know an answer.
