outlook email to OneNote

I am wondering if anyone has noticed this.
I send an email to ON via the button on Outlook.
ON pops up and shows the email. Works great.
The only issue was that the section title etc was the one I last used in ON.
I was initially confused, but what seems to be happening is that ON pastes
the email in the correct area as specified in options (unfiled notes) but it
shows the section where I last was with the page consisting of the email.

I don't know if it is related. But I did change pasting printouts to the
current section then changed it back again to unfiled notes (the default).

Not a big deal. It was just a bit confusing and is obviously not ideal
behavior

If you go to "tools" "options" "save": is the "unfiled notes" section there
also defined as you are expecting (in addition to the "outlook integration"
"email" settings that you described below)?

Yes.
They are all set to "Unfiled Notes.one"

That is really unusual and I cannot get my version to reproduce this.

I wonder if you have a rogue registry setting somewhere. Maybe try changing
all the settings to point to a different section (instead of "unfiled"),
exit, return, then change all the settings back to point to "unfiled".
Maybe whatever is causing this, will be correctly set at that point.
