Outlook email window hangs

Just upgraded entire office to Win XP and Office 2k3. A couple of users are
having problems when sending email. When they click the SEND button, the
outline of the email window and the toolbar stays on the screen. If you check
the sent items folder, the email is listed but the window will not go away.
You can move around Outlook normally. The only way to get rid of the email is
right click on the taskbar and select close. The problem is not consistent, I
cannot recreate it. Any ideas?

This is the first time I'm posting here. When I clicked the POST button it
froze my computer. I didn't think the post went through so I did it again.
Relax. It was a mistake.
