Outlook Error #0x800004005

Have been using Microsoft Outlook 2000 for a while - deleted misc and
unused programs today, now I cannot receive messages from the 3rd party
server. I can send out, not receive in. Server is configured
correctly. Received error #0x800004005 message. I cannot seem to clear
this up, any ideas?

Apparently at least some of what you deleted was neither miscellaneous nor
unused. Can you state what is was you deleted? Have you tried Help>Detect
and Repair?
