Outlook error message

Hello, I have had Outlook 2007 installed on my laptop for months with no
issues. 2 weeks ago the program would occasionally give me an error message
"your email server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password
in account properties...".

Now 2 days ago this message pops up all the time and I no longer can
send/receive emails. I have tried to repair Outlook, un-installing, and
re-installing, nothing seems to work!

And after determining what AV product you use, disable its superfluous
e-mail scanning feature. That doesn't work with all AV programs and
instead you need to uninstall it and then do a custom install where you
do NOT include their e-mail scanning module.

Some e-mail providers periodically require you to log into the mail server
via the web. Perhaps that's what's happening here. Can you log into your
mailbox using the web interface?
