Outlook/Exchange Auto Complete Nickname Feature

We have recently converted from Outlook using POP mail
accounts to an in-house exchange server. We are using
outlook XP. Many of our users are complaining about loss
of functionality of the Auto-Complete function when typing
email address in the TO: field. Some of the old names are
autocompleted just fine but others that used to work are
no longer displaying. Can anyone assist with a possible
solution or a way to edit the NK2 file or a way to
prioritze the name resolution in Outlook when connected to
exchange so it looks to the NK2 file first????
