outlook exe has encountered a problem & needs to close

I have office 97 installed and was going to use the outlook mail, but won't
let me open it up, keeps saying outlook exe has encountered a problem and
needs to close

Hi Dusty,
please run the repair function in "Control Panel > Software > Microsoft
Office 97 > Change"

thanks I got the problem fixed with some help from the other board, , I sure
do appreciate the response though.
