I keep getting the error message Outlook.exe "no disk" each time I start up
Outlook 2000 on my PC, this problem has just started, Each time it comes up
it gives me the option of canel, try again or continue? and wants to read
from the floppy disk drive,

Firstly, make sure your virus definitions are up to date and your
system has been scanned before trying any of this. After a clean
reboot, format a floppy disk and leave it in the drive. Then launch
Outlook. You will likely still get an error, but maybe it will now
tell you the file it's looking for. You may have put a personal
(.pst) file on a floppy and Outlook is looking for it or some other
file that it's looking for.

My wild-ass guess is that, at some point, you asked Outlook to look for a
PST on a floppy. What does Tools>Services show? It should have one
"Personal Folders" and one "Outlook Address Book". If you are connected to
Exchange, that will show there, too. If you have more than one "Personal
Folder" entries, or an "Archive" entry, select it and click Properties. It
should show you where it's looking for the PST. If one shows that it's
looking on the A: drive, delete it.
