outlook exp cannot connect to server

yikes!! I may have deleted something in error when
uninstalling a few uperfluous programs. Now outlook will
not connect. I have spoken with service provider and
they say to uninstall - reinstall...is there a way to
check for all neccessary programs? OR can I install and
over write without uninstalling?

Depends on what you deleted. I would start with a repair on Office. If you
are using Outlook 2000 or previous you should also re-install Internet
Explorer.

how do I do a repair on Office?

Insert the CD, start Setup and choose Repair. If it's not listed choose an
install.
