Outlook Express 5 Mac export messages

Hello;
Trying to move a user from one computer (OS 9) to a new (OSX) and
need to move messages from Outlook Express 5. I can select single
messages and save as, but I cannot export nor save entire folders.
Don't know where the datafile holding these messages are either. Any
ideas?
